The exploitation of forest biomass for bioenergy is commonly perceived as part a broad strategy climate change mitigation due to the view that carbon neutral. aims this study are distinguish most widely used definition neutrality and identify frequently discussed aspects concept neutrality. This research conducted in form scoping review. results review demonstrated there no generally accepted Eight main concepts were identified. temporal spatial boundaries, scenario-based assumptions, source feedstock. provides comprehensive summary contributes debate regarding bioenergy.
